Manual Order Management is the Past
Most distributors or retailers follow very basic processes to capture a new order. Either they take orders over the phone and record them in a ledger, or sometimes, the transporter brings a new order written on a piece of paper. Not only is this method hard to maintain in the long run, but it can also lead to several errors. Owing to the highly perishable nature of milk and its stringent processing and handling demands, a delay of even a few hours can make it go foul.
